Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to identify objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it using your voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It features an elegant, top piece that resembles toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to removed dust, dirt, and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a little grit. Most robots can't do this. And all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as sophisticated as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The J7+ is a solid option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and sometimes it's hard to determine if the update is actually working until you see it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be one that is a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with various additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive at retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock produces several of our top robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's their cheapest auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies.  vacuum robot  is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few misses in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones or alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make this robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It comes with a huge LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people, but it's one that will help you keep the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design is among the best in the industry however it's quite expensive.

It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates various tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.

And its vacuuming is impressive as well. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that does an excellent job of collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive however it comes with more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished carpets, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping functions at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up, simply attach one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be located near an outlet and have enough space to move.

The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, meaning it is able to be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The main characteristic that distinguishes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and where it can't access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it left off.

The elegant G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life, while providing better performance on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be empty as often and comes with an array of boundaries that restrict it from certain areas. The G30, however is more affordable and much simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't need to be empty as often and has less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
